The Fungal
Frontier Awaits
Return to nature, join us and get rewarded for doing field science
The MycoDAO Vision
Our goal is to unlock the power of fungi by driving innovation in biotech, sustainability, and health through decentralized science. We’re building a global, collaborative ecosystem where funding is accessible, research is transparent, and discoveries are shared openly. By advancing carbon sequestration, biofabrication, and mycelium-based technologies, we’re pushing the boundaries of what fungi can achieve.

Mycology needs community
MycoDAO’s citizen science initiatives are designed to decentralize fungal research by mobilizing amateur mycologists, enthusiasts, and local communities to contribute directly to biodiversity mapping and fungal data collection. This grassroots approach expands the boundaries of traditional research, integrating underrepresented communities into scientific discourse, amplifying MycoDAO’s impact across geographic regions.

Mycology needs better funding models
Through MYCO token, we are building a decentralized funding platform that leverages novel technology to ensure equitable and transparent resource allocation for the advancement of Mycology on a global scale.

Laboratories should be accessible to anyone
The LAB-IN-A-BOX is a self-contained, fully automated fungal research facility housed in a shipping container. Designed to function as a mobile lab, this unit can be stationed in remote areas or urban environments, providing communities and researchers with advanced fungal science capabilities without needing permanent infrastructure.
